I coach the middle school softball team at my school. The middle school team feeds into and helps build our JV and Varsity teams. My athletes are dedicated and talented, but as an academic magnet school, athletics are rarely funded to the level that we'd like them to be. We are usually left hosting multiple fundraisers to get our athletes practice equipment and uniforms - making compromises when the budget does not allow for the equipment that we really want them to have. With batting tees, equipment to help build defensive skills, and various types of softballs for my athletes, they will be able to improve their skills and compete with the more highly funded programs in our district! Help me get them the quality equipment that they deserve!
