These materials will help give my students the hands-on exploration that they strive for. Being able to manipulate numbers and letters with their hands will help them explore and understand how letters work together, and numbers relate to life. This is my first year teaching first grade, and I have learned that worksheets and lectures only work so far. Students need to be able to move numbers around with individual items, and make make words with letter. My class loves using the limited resources that I have. I want to grow my resources, so that my students can be the best students they can.
