Each year, my goal is to improve my practice and accommodate each of my students' needs. This often includes differentiating lessons and learning environments throughout the school day. Much of our learning is small group and center-based, which will be greatly impacted by the addition of flexible seating.
Students will be given independence and opportunities for choice through the implementation of flexible seating. Sitting at a traditional desk with a plastic chair can be difficult for most students, especially in an inclusion classroom. With the addition of flexible seating, students will be able to learn in a comfortable environment that meets their needs.
