Research suggests young children learn best through hands-on play and exploration and I would love to provide my Pre-K students with new manipulatives for our classroom. My students are incredibly creative and inventive; I love to see what they build and create during play time! Many of our manipulatives and toys are outdated or damaged and I would love to replace these toys with new materials. Having these new manipulatives would give them more to work with to build and create.
Play is the basis of our school day in Pre-K and I look forward to improving the toys and manipulatives we have in our classroom.
