I have found that students in middle school still like to hear what they are reading. Listening to articles gives them a better sense of the vocabulary as it pronounciates difficult words and helps in visualization for lower level readers. however, It is extremely difficult for a class of nearly 30 students to listen without proper headphones. My students are always asking for them and I have provided them on a budget, so you can imagine that they are not the best and they break, get lost and sometimes just disappear. I am asking fo a class set as I teach at least 30. students per class on an A/B rotation. I want to ensure that every student, everyday has access to a working pair of headphones
