In order to encourage a life long love of music, our school is going to offer ukulele classes to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. These classes are an alternative to traditional performing arts classes, and allow students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn music.
Through use of an easy to learn and highly engaging curriculum, students will learn basic chords, scales, and how to accompany themselves or a classmate while singing popular songs. These techniques help to enhance hand-eye coordination, promote team work, and to build confidence by meeting small, achievable goals.
Thank you for all your help!
