The use of cubbies, trays, and drawers are essential to a childs' learning. When students are participating in the small group activities in the classroom they will beable to gather what they need for each station quickly and efficiently.
When the classroom is organized the students know right where to go and do not need to ask where certain items are. I notice that when students are self-efficient and can be independent of knowing what they need for certain stations the class runs smoother. It avoids a lot of questions.
My classroom will be so much more productive if we are not searching for items tucked away in a file cabinet.
