During the pandemic, I had to adjust my online learning and purchase many digital and online recourses. This was what most of my allotted money went to. I would love to give my students now that we are in class more positive reinforcements in our treasure box. We use class money to provide our students with fun prizes for them to earn. We learn about the middle ages and have a special Middle ages day where we would use the crowns for. We also learn through a glow day where we have science activities with glow lights that we would use the glow fedora hats. We learn about sentence structure and dissecting sentences in a fun way during surgery day and would utilize the surgical hats. I utilize the tootsie pops for 100th day of school where we see how many licks it takes to get to the center. I have the pixie sticks for their birthday presents.
I hope by using this money, I can focus on enhancing my classroom environment and providing my students with many experiences that we couldn't provide during online learning. I teach Dual Emersion and I provide for 2 classes of 25 children each. The mailboxes and storage organizers will provide and way for the students to be responsible for their work in a sanitary way so the students wouldn't have to share supplies/ mailboxes. We are so excited that these resources can be a fun way of teaching my students with fun room transformations and thematic units!
