This easel will be the heartbeat of our classroom. This will be the place we will gather to create our anchor charts for the weeks learning. Books can be displayed to entice their learning and the children will enter the classroom excitedly to answer math sentences or other questions on the board which can later be discussed for the optimum learning of all students and their various levels. I really want them to make it their own. They will have the opportunity to teach others and show us all how they arrived at a particular answer. I want them to gather around the learning easel and be able to comment on each others ideas related to a project. They don't always agree with each other but they 'argue positively and make their voice heard. It warms my heart to think of us all gathering as a family around the learning easel.

About my class
