This library will be used daily by my students as most of the titles go along with our chosen curriculum. These books will also be used as a shared resource throughout the school by many teachers, psychologists, and counselors. Having books on hand that relate to issues a student may be going through is a powerful tool that teachers, school psychologists, and counselors can all utilize when helping students. These books will help the students at our school become caring, considerate, confident citizens of the world. These picture books about emotion and social-emotional issues will help them think deeply about feelings and social issues. It will help them develop empathy, talk about their feelings, and identify with others.
