All students need to learn organizational skills and responsibility. In my third grade class, I am hoping to use seat sacks to help each student keep themselves organized and keep our classroom running efficiently. This way, getting out and putting away materials time can be minimized, which leads to more time for learning! Organization is a lifelong skill that will help students succeed in and beyond school. By teaching it early, my class of 30 high energy students can feel independent and self-sufficient. My students attend a Title 1 school in Chicago Public Schools and, as an educator, I strive for equity.
