Our 8th grade students will be using problem-solving strategies, questioning, investigating, and critical analyzation as they solve a variety of mathematical problems. A composition notebook for each 8th grade math student will help them tackle the more advanced problems by allowing them a place to show their work and continue developing their skills in mathematics. We teach at a STEAM school in a low income area. Many of our students do not have the means to buy school supplies of their own and rely on what is provided at school. With these composition notebooks, students can focus on exploring a variety of concepts without losing track of their work when they are doing computations by hand. The 8th grade math team would be very appreciative of any donations that would help in purchasing composition notebooks for our classroom.
