In 11th grade, my students must study American Literature. We focus on the different periods and movements as they relate to literature. We also study how literature helped to create our country's national identity. As you can guess this can sometimes be dull to most seventeen year olds.

"Most Dangerous..." is a nonfiction account of a US government analyst during the Vietnam War who turned against the government and revealed presidential secrets to the American people. This is a side of the story that many students may have never heard of and will allow them to think critically about things such as patriotism, freedom, and integrity.
