Technology is everywhere. Young learners use smartphones, tablets, and Chromebooks to supplement their learning experiences and ignite their creativity. Using a track pad or mouse for the first time can be challenging and some students are unable to maneuver the track pad of a Chromebook. Having Chromebooks with touchscreens will allow little fingers and minds to work together to engage interactively with reading software. I want to remove barriers for my students who are unable to use the track pad on Chromebooks so they can focus on learning as they begin the journey from learning to read to reading to learn.
