My students have a sensory area in my classroom! However we don’t have activities in sensory that the students are able to complete independently! The idea of adding sensory tubs and a sensory floor would allow students to be able to do something while they were in sensory in order to calm themselves down! This would be a great resource for my students to use in learning to self regulate their emotions as well as work on finding things to do to calm them down when they are emotional. These opportunities would change the way they are able to interact with the world around them.
