Students will be able to watch how food goes from a seed to our plates. This ongoing Culinary class project will cultivate a deeper understanding of food, how it grows, and the processes it goes to before getting on our tables in a meal.
Students will be afforded the luxury of learning to plant, grow, maintain, harvest and utilize produce and herbs in their meals and dishes in class. Our students participating in these classes will be able to maintain their own vegetable and herbs garden and use what they produce during different lessons and dishes throughout the entire school year.
Students will be able to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of all those that participate in our food industry.
