I am trying to create a cozy home like learning environment for the students in my elementary life skills classroom. I would love to have some brightly colored furniture and carpets to invite them to an area of the room where they can read, or engage in creative play.
Brightly colored organizational bins and shelving for their toys and games to be stored. So the students know where to go to find the activities and games that they want to play and use. Book shelves to display all of the worlds that they can explore by reading. Bean bag chairs and carpet well help them to relax and let their imaginations take them away.
