Some of my students come in not knowing how to read or very little exposure to books after a "long" summer at home. Listening to stories is so exciting for students and it helps them grow as readers!
With these tools and resources to use during literacy centers, my students will learn and grow by listening and following along to several books. These tools will helps them learn new words, to look at the details in illustrations to better understand the story, and it will also help with their reading comprehension. All things that are very important developmentally at their age!
