The high school math classroom is one of the toughest classrooms to find engaged students. With the ideas of Ed Campos Jr., I am on a mission to make an engaging mathematical learning environment for my 9th and 10th grade learners by implementing the 360 degree math classroom.
Imagine white boards on all walls of the math classroom--360 degree math! The whiteboards will provide the opportunity to get my learners up out of their seats, performing, solving, and persevering on mathematical concepts.
The kidney table and bar height table will provide flexible seating and the opportunity for students to work collaboratively within the classroom.
Like stated earlier, my young math learners come in with enthusiasm and joy for math, and I want to create an environment that fosters and grows that enthusiasm by changing the classroom environment from rows of desks to 360 degrees of math!
