I am a special education teacher who teaches 3rd and 4th grade students with disabilities. Their disabilities including Speech and Language Impairment, Autism, and Specific Learning Disability. My students are mainstreamed to the general education classrooms for part of the school day. The students live in an economically disadvantage neighborhood with over 99% of them receiving receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch.
