These materials will make a huge difference as we start to incorporate more hands on learning for our STEM lessons. Students in preschool, typically developing students and students with special needs, need materials they can feel, see and use in different ways. These STEM materials will be introduced in small groups, whole group, and then we will add them to their center areas. These materials will be used daily! The STEM materials will include: math counting bears with activities, unifex cubes and manipulatives, puzzles, number puzzles, STEM constructor building toys, counting materials, shape puzzles, toy engineering activities and STEM toy kit.
