I am a K-5 Math Intervention Teacher in a military community. The students I serve frequently move throughout the United States and sometime abroad. The movement can be anytime during the school year and depends on the military's need for the service member. Unfortunately this frequent movement can cause students to fall behind academically, thus making it difficult to focus in the classroom, as they might still be hanging onto the fond memories and friendships made at their previous school.
By donating to our project you will not only increase student attention and focus in the classroom, you will help provide a warm and cozy learning environment for students who are attempting to make new and meaningful connections in their new "homes."
