The materials which will provide a copy of the book "What Do You Do With an Idea?" to every single one of my third graders will make a huge difference as they learn from home. Many of my students do not have access to books. Most of the books they took home were all from my library. If I am able to have my project funded, I will mail all of my students a copy of the book.
I am certain this book will bring joy to all of my students. The purpose of this book is to teach anyone who is reading it that no idea, no matter how big or small or odd it can be is a bad idea. We should all allow our ideas a space to grow and blossom. I want this mindset to stay with my 3rd graders all their lives. I want them to remember their 3rd grade not as the year of the pandemic but as the year where they realized that if they think it, they can achieve it!
