Learning happens in many different ways for all kinds of students. Some students learn best in a calm and quiet environment, while others learn best through movement. I want my classroom to offer and maximize whatever the need of the student may be.
I would like to be able to have the fuzzy feet chair gliders donated so I am able to meet the needs of both kinds of students. This will eliminate the distraction of the chair noises for those who need a quiet environment, but will also allow those movements in those students who may have a more different time sitting still. It will allow both types of students to receive the stimulation they need from their learning environment.
