I am a First Grade Teacher who works at a Title I school which means that we educate many students who come from low-income households. Our school is also located within a military community, and we are given the opportunity to educate many students who are children of men and women who serve our country.
My classroom is full of young students who are excited, energetic, and come to school ready to learn every day! They love to learn and explore through many different avenues, but they are especially excited about hands-on and interactive learning opportunities that assist in providing them with experiences that allow them to apply what they have learned in real-world scenarios.
My students enjoy the engaging and interactive classroom where they learn every day. My classroom is full of diverse students with a vast array of preferred learning styles, academic needs, and cultural backgrounds.
