My students and I will establish a simple school store to sell healthy snacks. The cash box will be used to organize money and to keep our funds safe. The assortment of snacks will be used as store inventory. The profit from the sale of these items will be used to restock the store.
Students will benefit from having a real job and authentic interactions which will help prepare them to work in the "real world". Students will also have the opportunity to improve their money skills. Students will also have an increased opportunity to interact with school staff and students and to be active members of the school community.
