I have been very lucky to work at a school that thrives on cultural exploration. Our school has been designated as a School of Global Stewardship. Each grade level represents a continent so by the time students go through all of their elementary school years they have learned about and explored cultures from all over the world.
As you walk through the halls you can see artifacts, flags, famous landmarks, and cultural décor displayed from many countries- How awesome is that? Our 2nd Graders will be representing the continent of Asia. In addition to Asian culture, my class will be studying the country of Taiwan. These resources will help my students dive deeper into the Taiwanese/Asian culture, as well as, help them develop a greater sense of the world.
