My students have been impacted by Covid-19 in many ways. One of those ways is they are lacking in knowledge of healthy choices and what is in our food. We have school gardens but during the pandemic they are unattended. Now they are in disrepair and need revitalized. We need grow lamps, seeds, and gardening tools. I can't wait to have my students back in the garden and grow seeds they can take to plant to eat from during the summer.
Lack of proper eating habits and exercise in a pandemic in itself, my students came back from the pandemic unhealthy and sluggish. My hopes are to get them back on track and teach them how to grow their own food.
