Being a high school art teacher means that it's my job to get students prepared for the real world and that doesn't just mean teaching them how to draw & paint. It also means teaching students how to use technology. I teach various levels of art including, Art I, 2, 3, 4 & AP Studio Art & my students would be able to use the computer everyday for their projects!
Teaching art allows me the opportunity to teach kids how to use technology to manipulate and create amazing things that will benefit them the rest of their lives.
If I had a computer in my classroom for students to use, they would be able to download their images, learn to manipulate them and use them for their own personal artwork.
