One way that I found for students to share with others while our district has been using a virtual learning model is through videos. Now that students will be returning to the classroom later this month, I want to give them an opportunity to present their materials through podcasting. These microphones and podcast recorder will improve the recording quality and allow others to better hear, and appreciate the quality discussions, analysis, and performances the students give.
I have students in grades 6, 7, and 8.
Our school is a Title 1 school. I have a few students that struggle with ADHD but by putting them in the role of performer, they are far more engaged and less prone to falling off track with classroom tasks.
