The high school library is one of the main hubs of the building. Students come to work, read, eat lunch, join book clubs, while whole classes use the space as a meeting area, to check out books, or the space is used to sub for absent teachers when we don't have other options. When the school was shut down for Covid-19, most of the comfy seating was thrown away because it could not be disinfected; my students need comfortable, cleanable seating to encourage reading, focus, and calm. With the requested items, more students and classes will be able to find comfort, focus, and calm and will be better able to read and focus.

About my class
