I would like to give my students access to appropriate technology that will allow them to share their learning process with families and connect with others beyond the classroom. The students will use the iPad to document individual and group efforts in engineering, science inquiry, art, music, math and literacy, through photos and videos.
Child-created movies, photo books, and artistic collaborations can be shared digitally, with parents.
They will also participate in global activities such as virtual field trips, skyping with community helpers, and creating cards for classrooms around the world.
The use of an iPad will allow for more opportunities to explore, discover, collaborate with each other, and share with their families.
