I’m moving into an English I and II classroom after 6 years of elementary math so it’s like starting over. My new classroom has only a couple of class sets of books for two different grade levels. These books are well worn and have been used for years and still have life in them but there simply aren’t enough books to support whole group classroom reading of novels as is necessary at this grade level. We also like a diversity of titles and subjects which will peak the interest of all students. Please help us build a robust classroom library so we can continue to encourage a love of reading both classic novels and newer Young Adult novels in our students. I am so excited to begin this new journey with my students! Please come along with us and support us as we grow!
