Kindergarten requires a lot of time spent in a whole group setting and that means time on the rug! After teaching Kinder for 6 years and inheriting a classroom rug before that, I feel as though my students deserve a fresh and clean place to sit!
Out of our 7 hour day together, we use the rug most of our day - we read, we rest, we relax and we DANCE! The rug is a perfect spot for Kindergarten students to learn how to play, socialize and find an independent work space during the day. It is the central part of our classroom, and like any home remodel - it's time for a classroom one :) Thanks for your help in making our classroom a better place!
