The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go.
We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and guided practices. While on the carpet, we plan to use the white boards where students will have the opportunity to show and share their work with the teacher and peers. The highlighters will be used to highlight words we may not know in a passage and the storage pouches will be used to store each individual student highlighter and pencils.
Lets not forget the clipboards that will be utilized to sit around the classroom and for outside science adventures and the crayons to color what they may visualize during science experiments and illustrate their writing (stories) they create.
