Much of our learning is done visually. It is necessary for my students to see and learn new vocabulary with pictures and posters in color. A color printer will help me to prepare the materials needed to present the new vocabulary the students learn each day.
Games in Spanish provide a fun, hands-on alternative to learning different vocabulary and give the students an opportunity to speak and interact with each other in Spanish in ways they were not able to do at home.
Math wrap-ups are another fun manipulative that will enable the students to learn and gain more confidence in learning math facts and help close any of the gaps created from shortened schedules.
