My students are always hungry!
They look forward to snack time, but rarely have snacks from home because their families cannot afford them. I provide a snack for my students so they are able to concentrate on school work, and not their hungry bellies! I have a large class, so I try to buy foods that go a long way, such as Wellesly Farms Animal Crackers, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, and Anderson Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels. I also know they enjoy Snyder's Pretzels, and Lance Sandwich Crackers, as well Ritz Bits Cheese Crackers.
To encourage good behavior during the day, I will reward students with Skittles and Airheads.
