Technology in the classroom is no longer a luxury but a necessity. In this day and age, technology is always evolving and those that are exposed to it evolve as well. Students are now coding games and stories, creating digital art, and enhancing their understanding of the world with the assistance of iPads. My students are looking to have the same opportunities. Like all things, when students are exposed to technology early, their familiarity and comfort grow. With the use of these iPads, I will be able to expose students to technology through reading, math, research, creative arts, and coding activities. The iPads will allow our class, especially our female students, to experience coding at an early age which research has stated is important for creating future coders. The use of these iPads will also allow students to finally make the learning their own in new and fun ways!
