Being in a low-income school, many of my students never get the chance to travel outside of our city. This makes it hard for our students to gain new experiences. By getting this tablet I would be able to bring students on virtual field trips around the world. We could visit Ancient Rome, Egypt, museums and many other virtual experiences. With society being technologically driven, we as teachers need to adapt to our society.
I would like my students to become aware and experience life outside of our city.
Being able to utilize virtual reality in the classroom would allow us to do just that. Not many of my students get to go on vacations or see different parts of the world. This would be a great opportunity to help my students see this, even if it is not first hand, virtual reality can be just as good if you find the right ones.
