Virtual learning is a reality in this new age of teaching. Webcams will help my school provide lessons that students can dive into, as if they were physically at school.
Webcams will create a wave of learning that not only spans across the subjects being taught, but across the grade levels as well! My students will be able to interact with me by completing phonics games on the whiteboard, or by telling me where to move math manipulatives because the webcams will enable them to see and hear everything. My students will still have shared writing opportunities because I will be able to show them what I am writing, and they will be able to verbally tell me what to write next in our stories.
Webcams are powerful tools that can be used now, and beyond this pandemic!
