When I was in elementary school, I remember going to classrooms that I couldn’t express myself in. I felt as if I was trapped in a box and had to be like every other student. I couldn’t even pretend to enjoy being in those classrooms so I told myself I would be sure that my students had the opposite.
I want my students to look forward to coming to my classroom and I believe this will happen with a learning environment that provides them with comfortability. I want to be able to utilize every bit of my classroom by having different places to sit outside of a desk and different things for them to be able to see and use. I want my students to be proud of their learning environment each and every day.
