During my first year in third grade, I did what I could to ensure that every student's learning needs were met. From crayons, folders, highlighters and more I made sure to provide what I could for my kiddos. As I move into my second year of teaching, I realize that I have many ideas that I want to use in the classroom to ensure my students have a successful year! I just need resources to implement them. I have included a variety of items on my Ðǿմ«Ã½ project which fall under the categories of organization, manipulatives, and curriculum resources.
With these resources, I know that my students will be able to reach their goals and strive for successes in the classroom.
The clipboards will be used at carpet time during videos or small group sessions. The students will love to work around the room and get out of their desks from time to time. The numbered pocket folders will be used to organize headphones for technology time so cords will no longer become tangled. The outlets will be used as a makeshift Chrome cart since my school is one-to-one but I do not have easy access to charge the computers. I would love to use the binders to keep student work together and organized and writing cubes for my early finishers who complete their writing and need to be inspired to write more. The colored paper will help to make the student's interactive math notebooks more vibrant and engaging. The pocket folders will be take-home folders, but also carry individual goal charts so students can become accountable for their work and strive to meet goals throughout the year. I am excited to use these resources to create a great learning environment for my kids!
