Some of my students have ADHD and struggle with staying in their seats and focusing. I believe the bands will help with this. My students do not have manipulatives to use for math and we are going to be starting place value so these will be invaluable for them to practice with. I am a first year teacher and so I am working on getting the materials I will need for my future classes as well. All of these materials will help my students have fun during math time and the bands will help those students who need them focus during instruction and while they are working at their seats.
