It is no secret that Kindergarten of today feels like the First grade of years ago. I want to bring painting and artistic expression back into my Kindergarten classroom. Painting provides an additional way for students to express themselves and their learning. They can paint a picture that connects with a read aloud, a math concept, or just their own imagination! The Mobile Art Center will allow my kindergarteners a dedicated space for painting a one of a kind creation, or a interpretation of book we have read together. Four and five year olds should have a place to paint their masterpiece and keep it safe before bringing it home for parents to adore! Supporting my project will help my students develop artisitic expression along with their literacy and numeracy skills. Thank you!
