I am moving from Second grade to Kindergarten this school year. I have in the past spent my own personal money to buy things for my classroom especially since I began two years ago in my new school. Because of the grade change I am in need of more alpahbet manipulatives in order to provide different center for my students to work in while I teach guided reading. This is why I have chosen alphabet stamps for play dough and for ink pads. I have also chosen the headphones for the literacy center: Listening to Reading. It is very important especially for my ELL(English Language Learners) to constantly be exposed to the English language. These headphones will be able to provide 2 centers. The flex seating chair is going to be for my share chair in which the student will share out during morning meeting, and during writing.
