Technology is here to stay so why not utilize it more to improve student learning and promote organization in the digital world. My school currently has Google Classroom but many do not utilize it because we do not have one-to-one technology. Although many of my students will have access to our Google Classroom through the use of personal devices, there are still more that do not have this daily access so I have chosen Donors Choose to help eliminate this gap in a small way.
With the addition of Chromebooks, I will be able to implement Google Classroom which will allow my students to have 24-hour access to our classroom materials, classwork, and homework as well as giving them the ability to support each other in the learning process with a platform that can give immediate feedback. With the diversity of students' backgrounds being taught, I will be able to structure learning and assignments based on a student's understanding individually without the student having the fear of being singled out for being at a lower or higher level of learning than those around them.
