My project will aim to promote and encourage an active lifestyle. I will carry out a competition to see how quickly each 3rd-5th grade student can complete a Kid Power Mission. One Power Band usually comes with five pre-installed missions in the Kid Power App.
I would first distribute the Power Bands to one classroom and assign each student to one mission. Then, I would track and record the number of steps and days each learner took in order to complete their mission. Once all students in a classroom complete their assigned mission, I will then hand off the Power Bands to another classroom and repeat the process again.
With 20 Power Bands, my students will be able to access 100 missions in the Kid Power App. Our reusable approach will spread the Power Bands across multiple classrooms and give 100 students an opportunity to complete one mission while also making an impact in our community and abroad.
