I have a wonderful group of 4th grade students. Our school is located in a rural area where agriculture is the main industry. My students live in a high poverty level and we are considered one of the 100 poorest schools in our state. Even though there is little money in our community, there is a great value on education. My parents and students see education as a way of bettering their lives. My students are eager to learn, and they rely on me to provide them with meaningful learning experiences.
