This variety of books will allow me to make a classroom library in which my students will be able to choose from a variety of topics. I have chosen books that I believe will spark my 3rd graders interest. I also decided to choose informational text so that my students can learn about historical events. These books will foster their love for reading and make them more avid readers. Flexible seating will make it more comfortable and exciting so they will want to read. These items are essential in creating an inviting classroom library. For years I have had to weed through outdated, damaged books. I think it is time to upgrade!
