I am asking for a high-capacity printer and scanner with ink to last the school year. These materials would allow me to print and copy materials for my students who attend a Title 1 school and have limited support at home.
Having access to quality instructional materials is half of the battle. Children coming from a lower socioeconomic home need more opportunities to grow academically in order to be successful. Having a printer in my classroom and the ink for the year would allow me to give the students tangible materials to help bridge their gap. They will be able to read, highlight, write notes, and annotate on the copies this project provides.
